Important Information

Please note following announcements

1. Diwali Cultural Program: Entries MUST be submitted in a form to the Program Committee by October 12, 2024.


2. Articles and Advertisements for the BCAO Annual Magazine for 2024 should be submitted to the Publication Committee by October 05, 2024.


3. BCAO Seniors Tour: All seniors are requested to provide the documents required for the arrangements of the tour.


4. Seniors Activity: There are many events/activities planned for our seniors this year that are not listed in the calendar. Please reach out to any member of the Senior Committee for upcoming events related to seniors


5. Summer Camping: All interested members are requested to confirm their participation by completing the camping form and a payment of $100 per family by April 30, 2024. Please contact the Camping Coordinators listed in the Events Calendar for further information.


6. BCAO Youth: Parents, please encourage your children to join BCAO Youth events. Contact any member of the youth committee for details or have your youth follow @bcaoyouth on Instagram for updates on youth events.


7. Graduates: BCAO will continue to honor graduates from our community at the Diwali Program. Please contact our committee members by October 12, 2024 for necessary forms and information.


8. Volunteers: Volunteering is always needed. Duties of volunteers include, but are not limited to, food preparation, set up / tear down, as well as transport for our various events. Members wishing to volunteer should contact a committee member to get involved. Volunteer hours can be signed off for high school students who help.


9. Youth Volunteer Award: Graduated high school students who have volunteered 100+ hours with BCAO over the course of their high school years can now qualify for this award on the year they graduate from high school by submitting a form prior to the Diwali program.


10. Membership: Memberships are divided into two categories: Annual Memberships, and Lifetime memberships. All new members are required to fill in the corresponding “New Membership Form” and provide a membership fee.

Annual Entry Fees:

At all BCAO events, please abide the following rules:

• Your cooperation and support are required.
• Alcohol is strictly prohibited at all BCAO events.

Facilitate the maintenance of all rental properties (Temple, community center, school, and park), as well as abide by all rules and regulation of the venue:

• Donations and sponsors for any events are always welcome and appreciated.
• If you haven’t been receiving our event updates, you can check the website http://www.bharatiyaculture.com or if you would like to change your subscription method, please make a request by sending your contact information to bcao1976@gmail.com.
• We have discounted Funeral Service with Lotus Funeral and Cremation Centre. For more information, please contact our committee members
